Proximity to beach

No hot water They cut our water completely for over 6 hours of our stay. The checkin lady was extremely I will. Then our luck my wife get sick and cant even take a hot shower. Really wasn''t ok. at checkin gave us a lower room then paid for.

Excellent location. South end of Chaweng Beach. Close to the busy areas but far enough away so no noise or traffic.

Since it is on the south end of Cheang Beach, you have to walk north. For the 1st km of the walk there is very little sidewalk space street can tend to be busy with both vehicle scooter and pedestrian traffic so it is a bit unsafe.

Just in front you can have a good and cheap renting of motobike. Friendly massage place also in front is very simple but cheap and good.

Very isolated hotel at the end of Chaweng Beach. You have to take a taxi/Grab or rent a motorbike to get around.The rooms and especially the bathrooms were quite dirty. I found a cockroach in the bathtub. Mold of the walls.We changed rooms upon arrival since needed thin beds. But the second bed was not ready and maid was not available after 5pm to make the bed.Upon departure, we requested a one-hour late checkout, which was denied without even checking the arrival times of guests.The mattresses were very uncomfortable.Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant, but not before 8:00 AM.

The location is amazing, breakfast was of really good quality and the beach was beautiful

Mould and mildew all over the bathroom, surfaces were dirty throughout the room on arrival, the futon bed was dirty (luckily enough we didn't need to use it) and the shower mixer didn't work, informed reception didn't improve so we had a bath instead everyday.

The staff are great and super attentive. The location is good. We were given fresh towels or linen whenever we asked and our supplies stocked daily.

The accommodation is tired and our room had the smell of rotting wood added to it. The aircon leaked water onto the floor and could barely cool the room. We took a swim up room cause of the swim up bar advertised in the pictures but the bar does not exist. The shower head is not adjustable and sprays directly on the wall (which I guess is where the rotting is happening)Breakfast was included and covers a variety of taste (which is a great thing) but becomes boring after 8 days.

It was ok.

Mattress topper was severely stained. It could not cover the two indentations each side where people had slept presumably for years. Not acceptable. Seaside bungalow 1905 was very dark and dismal inside. Would not recommend this bungalow.

Beach front location

Thought getting beach front room….. but no it room in block away from beach, which can just see the beach

Beach front, wonderful view.

The pool is rather small, a lot of children, rather noisy.Very far from center, have to walk.And windows infront of the pool. You are either obsurved by everyone or have to keep the curtains shut.The lighting was bad.The worst thing! When I untied the curtains round the bed there were ants there!! And when I told the manager he answered that they've got "a very simple decision - to cancel my reservation and refund the rest of the payment!! Getting rid of a guest! They call it a decision!!

Beachfront and choice of swim up rooms. Comfy beds . Rooms cleaned daily. Close to bars and restaurants. Staff friendly

Our room was damp and smelt musty even though it was one floor up and couldn’t open balcony doors to try and air room as there were no mosquito nets on the doors. They allowed others to use pool at beach if they came in for drinks or food so it was at times very noisy with kids and family’s not from the resort using the pool Had a bath with a shower over it but it was not tall enough for me to shower underneath and I am only 5’8” so had to bend down to wash hair

The beach and pool area were very good as was the included breakfast. The location is excellent as you are right next to the beach. The hotel is very close to a lot of different restaurants and bars. Lots of tour operators and scooter rental places close as well. The room was a decent size but a little tired and there were some issues with the shower hot water that many of the guests experienced as well. The staff were great.

Only major issue were non guests of the hotel using the beach pool area including the pool despite signage that clearly indicated that it was for resort guests only. Even worse was bringing young children with them and allowing them to use pool unsupervised.

We had a beech bungalow and the view was amazing ! Bed looked very lumpy but was so comfortable , all great with the facilities , a bit dated but all functional! No complaints

We stayed in Bungalow # 1419 which was right next to the pool and ocean. I was a little concerned that it might be too noisy but it wasn’t. The bar closed early, maybe 6 pm? (can’t remember) and nobody used the pool after that. The room was large and the staff were great. The massage parlor across from the reception was great. Be advised, most of the rooms in this property are away from the beach. I would not want to stay there unless the price was really low. I paid $120US per night in Jan 2025.

It was a bit older property and the beach and pool in front of the room are both small. Downtown was about 1.5 miles away but manageable.

Our experience at Bhundhari was special as we were woken up by the waves at the shore which was less than 5 meters away. The staff was friendly and they cleaned our rooms every day. The pool was very nice, never tried the food.

The pool side is good!

Everything apart from the pool side. I hated the rooms. They never gave us rooms until 3pm inspite of 2pm being the check in. The rooms were dark and dingy had no lights! The AC wasn’t working for 2days. The reception never responds to any issues. No resolution is provided to anything. DO NOT STAY HERE. Save your money. Bad bad bad rooms very old and dingy

Very comfortable and spacious rooms located on the beach. Food was lovely shops and facilities very close by

Pool area wasn’t the biggest and very Sunbeds but as mentioned property located on the beach

Great little hotel that is far enough away from the hustle, but close enough if you want to get into town. Second time I have stayed here, second pool by the beach is a nice touch also ...

Staff friendly & even tho you went to a different premise across the road breakfast, it was nice.

The photos on Booking .com are nothing like the place you stay, very miss leading, The bathroom was filthy, the tiles behind the toilet were filthy, as was the shower curtain, the room especially the bathroom are very tired with paint peeling off the side of the bath.We always felt grubby in the room, for what we payed very disappointing, would never return.
